Tube furnaces are one of the most effective ways to heat a small sample while allowing rapid temperature changes and temperature uniformity. The HT 1500 can be used for preheating of ceramic crucibles for induction furnaces.
Each time a crucible is needed, a new one is inserted into the tube, and a preheated crucible falls out the other end of the furnace tube. The recommended preheating temperature is between 1250°C and 1350°C.
